The Harambee Interactive Expo (HIE) is a multidisciplinary platform that utilizes film, events, and 8 technologies to bring awareness of modern and creative ways to train the Black community.  For every one actor or actress standing in front of the camera, there are 100's of technology and business professionals behind the eye of camera.  Likewise in the top 40 most lucrative industries, the technologies of the future are dominating the highest paying careers and most lucrative new businesses. For instance, the black community currently only makes up 4 percent of small businesses using STEM during a time when technology training is absolutely necessary to survive and thrive. Comparisons generated using generative AI suggest kids from marginalized communities plagued with transgenerational trauma and social injustice have a historically much smaller conversion rate into technology careers and companies (less than 1 percent) than the black community as a whole. It is apparent that technological proficiency and expertise from these communities subject to social injustice is a nationalist problem that will greatly diminish national proficiency unless we address these problems.
